An Apostle of the Lord Feb 25th 2019

Hello my friends! 
This week was great and each day is so full of experiences and tomorrow i have 8 months in the mission and wish it would all slow down.
We did divisiones with the Zone leaders on Tuesday so I was in Oran with Elder Rojas and that was a lot of fun. They have bikes there and its been a long time since I've rode a bike so my hands and butt hurt after! But it was a good day and we found a lot of good people to teach.
Thursday we had the baptism of the sisters of dalma and Ill put all their pics below! it was such a good experience to share with them and their family
I also went to the dentist this week so that was good.
This week i realized that prayer truly is a two way conversation. we need to LISTEN when we pray because our father in heaven will speak to our hearts and our minds if we listen.
Friday night we went to Salta and stayed the night for our conference with Elder Renlund of the quorum of the 12 apostles. It was a fun time to see the other missionaries and catch up with old friends.

Saturday we had a conference with Elder Renlund with the WHOLE mission so we got to see literally everybody and that was amazing!
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is led by Jesus himself  as he guides his prophets and apostles.  The apostles in the Bible and Book of Mormon were his special witnesses and its the same today. It was such an amazing oppurtuntiy to have an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ talk to us and testify of the divinity of Christ. That he LIVES. and that he is our FRIEND. That he LOVES us. It truly was an apostolic witness.
I left with a greater desire to serve and establish Zion here in Argentina.

So a lot happened this week but more than anything, my testimony of the power of the Holy ghost was strengthened. We have been teaching this lady named Elizebeth. Well she came to church this Sunday and she offered to say the last prayer in her class and started to cry. Elder pekins and I saw it from a distance and he gave me a fat hug haha we were so happy for her. She felt the spirit in that moment and later shared with us how she received an answer that the Book of Mormon is true. After a lesson with her she asked, "so when can we put a date for my baptism?" We were amazed! That's normally something we invite the people to do, but I guess the spirit beat us to it. And that's how it should be I guess, because conversion comes through the Holy Ghost. Also shout out to my companion for always being intune with the spirit. Already Two Weeks!

Que Pasa Calabazas! I cant believe its been two weeks here. Ever since the first day time has flown by! The language was coming so quickly and I learned so much in the first week, I just need to make sure that I keep learning and dont get stagnant. Also things have gotten into a rythm here so its jsut been a blur!  On thursday, it was our last lesson with daniela and it went really well. I feel like we followed the spirit and were able to answer her questions about baptism! Friday We prepared for our next people we are teaching, Ignasio and Salma! we also did a service project during gym time and that was awsome!  Saturday, We had our first lesson with ignasio and we learned alot! we kinda overwhelmed him with info when we should have realized that he had a limited knowledge of God. This week was amazing. We are working pretty hard in an area that's pretty hard, but in my 3 months here I've seen a change and I know the Lord has big plans for his children here in Embarcacion. Some Experiences from this week. As we were walking in the street we heard a huge rumbling in the distance, and we couldn't figure out what it was. It sounded like a crowd cheering or something like that.  After a little bit we realized that it was RAIN! And it was coming FAST. The streets turned to mud in seconds and we began running from literal wall of rain. WE got soaked but ran to a nearby house of someone we are teaching! Another day we were walking and a little girl in front of us was with her family. She turned around and asked us about the people that hurt Jesus. We had never talked to them before, but she seemed to recognize us as servants of the Lord, and we began talking to her and her family about Christ, and our message, and we set up another appointme
