Tengo Gozo en mi Alma March 25, 2019

This week was so great We were having some trouble finding people to teach, and one of the people that we had visited told us he had a "twin" when we went back to talk to him, and that his twin that we had talked to wasn't there. It was obviously the same guy but pretty funny! But after talking with a ton of people we had a pretty amazing experience and found a family that has been prepared to hear the gospel. My Testimony of the Holy Ghost and its ability to guide us has grown immensely. After the lesson my comp started crying and it was a special moment for us. We were so grateful for the faith we had to keep talking and keep knocking on doors, knowing that people are prepared for this message, even when sometimes everyone rejects it. And that was something that Elder Bragg talked about when he came to talk to us! Hes from the quorum of the seventy, and it was an awesome conference. He talked of the Temple that is going to be in Salta, and the trust the

The Power of Prayer March 18, 2019

First off id like to say that i have felt your prayers. From my family, friends and the people that just pray for the missionaries. Know that your prayers are being answered and that i pray for you all daily! "He who notes the fall of a sparrow, surely hears the pleadings of our hearts" HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIVI! just so y'all know my sister turned 17 this week! This week was just like any other week in the mission: Crazy Monday we were out contacting and we ended up talking to a Jehovah Witness. All people and all religions are amazing, and I respect them all, but this lesson was nuts. They study the bible word for word, and this person wasn't that open to our message. I learned a lot about the power of testimony. And the love we can have for people who reject us. When there is CONTENTION there is NO SPIRIT. It doesn't matter if we agree with them or not, but CHARITY is such a necessity and the only way that the Gospel of Jesus Christ can be Shared

Hola a todos! This week was crazy and a lot of fun. We saw a ton a toucans Tuesday we went to Salta to get our new companions fresh from the MTC,and that was a lot of fun! We all stayed in a hostel and it was great because I'm training with a lot of the people that were in my same group when I got here! We all cant believe how much time we've been here, and the fact that we need to teach someone else how to be a missionary. It  was weird to be back with everyone, but to be in the shoes of the trainers. MY SON is from Mexico! and his name is Elder Gonzales! Muy capo and we've had a lot of fun this week! His testimony is strong and he loves testifying of Jesus Christ. I know I will learn a lot from him and hope I can help him have a good start to his mission.   EMILCE is so amazing and has been prepared for the Gospel in her life. We had our second lesson with her Thursday and we invited her to pray to know if what we taught was true, and she said, I ALREADY DO! I was smiling

We got transfers and it turns out Im gonna train a new missionary so that's gonna be interesting! We go to Salta Tuesday to pick up our ¨sons¨ haha Now let me tell you about Emilce: Shes a woman that we recently started to teach and here is her story. She had recently had her baby, but after it was born she got sick and her baby too. She was in the hospital, and while there, couldn't sleep due to her sickness and stress about her baby. While there she was sharing a room with another woman (a member of the Church) and one day some people came to give her a priesthood blessing. Afterwords they asked Emilce if shed like a blessing too and she said yes. After the blessing she said she felt her chest expand with love. That night she slept for the first time in 4 days.      In the days that followed her baby's situation got worse, and it was suffering a lot. Emilce remembered that her roommate at the hospital had taught her how to pray, and although she hadn't

Hello my friends!  This week was great and each day is so full of experiences and tomorrow i have 8 months in the mission and wish it would all slow down. We did divisiones with the Zone leaders on Tuesday so I was in Oran with Elder Rojas and that was a lot of fun. They have bikes there and its been a long time since I've rode a bike so my hands and butt hurt after! But it was a good day and we found a lot of good people to teach. Thursday we had the baptism of the sisters of dalma and Ill put all their pics below! it was such a good experience to share with them and their family I also went to the dentist this week so that was good. This week i realized that prayer truly is a two way conversation. we need to LISTEN when we pray because our father in heaven will speak to our hearts and our minds if we listen. Friday night we went to Salta and stayed the night for our conference with Elder Renlund of the quorum of the 12 apostles. It was a fun time to see the other mi

This week was so good It started out when I found out that a family I had taught in last area (Villa Alem) got baptized! It was such an amazing experience, to have seen their progress throughout my time there, and then to finally see them enter the waters of baptism! Pretty special moment. I have so much love for them and for our Father in Heaven, whose work this is. (FOTOS Below) Tambien! This week we baptized David, Juan y Silvio! They are the kids of a part member family that is beginning to come back to church. They are wild, and a lot of fun, and it was great to experience their baptisms with them! they literally hunt birds while we walk to church with them haha This week we worked on following the promptings of the spirit, and found two families that called out to us as we were walking! Mormones! or Elderes! it was cool to have been in the right moment to find them, and one of them met with the missionaries a long time ago and the other got baptized but left the churc
