Somewhere in Argentina

Hola everyone hope all is well I think there was a problem with my last email because no one seemed to have got it but I resent it! Also Happy Birthday to my stud of a brother who thinks he can drive now This week was pretty good, but towards the end of the week we weren't having that much success because there's no school till Wednesday and everyone is just partying and its been super hot so that's been kind of rough but I love this work, and love representing Jesus Christ I had the opportunity to give a blessing this week, and it was in Spanish so that was interesting, but although by Spanish wasn't perfect, I still felt the power that blessings have when given by the power of the priesthood. Also Walter and Soledad Mansilla got married! It took forever, but they got married and it was so awesome and then Soledad got baptized this Saturday! It was such an amazing experience, and I know that the principles of the gospel will bless their family.    

Whats up, this week has been kinda crazy and went by super fast, but thats usually how it goes! It started out by doing last minute cambios with Elder Ashton in our area because both our trainers had to go to Salta for training or something. Yes, we are both greenies and were in the MTC together but we were stoked for the challenge! We had two lessons that night and it was so cool because we may not have known a ton of spanish, but the spirit was so strong and we could feel it testifying of the truflness of what we were saying. The next morning we did a lot of contacting and it was kinda crazy having to know where to go but I feel like I knew the area alright and it was all a good oppurtunity for us to step up with both our trainers gone. This week was especially fast because we went to Salta for  some of my Visa paperwork and Salta is around 4 hours away so that took a couple of our days. It was great to see some people from the CCM and I loved seeing the country side of northern Argentina, its pretty gorgeous. Hola familia y amigos This week went by faster than the last and Im just trying to take it all in! Our lessons have been going great and each day my spanish gets better! Its awesome and they say if you can understand the spanish in Tucumàn you can understand any spanish so that gives me hope haha. We have two solid baptismal dates, they just have to get married buts its been great to see them progress especially as they see how the blessings of the gospel can help them more and more! Ive seen a lot of poverty around the world, but its been totally different knowing the people and loving them because some people are living in some pretty sad conditions, but its also been amazing because they are so so humble and love the lord and we can all learn a lot from them.
