Dos Mas Semanas!

This week has been really good and it kind of dawned on me that i leave for Argentina in two weeks ! In the beginning I was starting to get complacent with how much I had learned and I started to notice it in our lessons. I learned that I need to always have a eye single to the glory of God and then as is promised in the scriptures, I will be able to "comprehend all things" like Spanish haha.  Something that someone said in one of our discussions really stuck with me, and has helped when I don't feel like giving my all or if I get distracted. They said how we had an eternity to prepare, and will have an eternity to look back on it, but we only have these two years now to give our all, and how important the work we are doing is. Our next fast from English was so awesome! I didn't feel like I was held back in anyway and felt like I could communicate comfortably! It was so cool and I learned a lot of what I wish I could've said and whatnot. During class o

Que Pasa Calabazas! I cant believe its been two weeks here. Ever since the first day time has flown by! The language was coming so quickly and I learned so much in the first week, I just need to make sure that I keep learning and dont get stagnant. Also things have gotten into a rythm here so its jsut been a blur!  On thursday, it was our last lesson with daniela and it went really well. I feel like we followed the spirit and were able to answer her questions about baptism! Friday We prepared for our next people we are teaching, Ignasio and Salma! we also did a service project during gym time and that was awsome!  Saturday, We had our first lesson with ignasio and we learned alot! we kinda overwhelmed him with info when we should have realized that he had a limited knowledge of God. It was still great though and we testified of what we knew to be true. Sunday was great and we learned a lot about aligning our will with the will of God. Also Our district leader was appoint

The spirit has been so strong and the language is actually coming really fast. Im not fluent but I say prayers and teach lessons all in spanish! Well to begin, my journey to get here was very eventful. Early tuesday morning I said goodbyes to mi familia and it was sad but I was looking forward to the adventure ahead. I made my flight to LA just fine, and then boarded my flight to Mexico city once I was in LAX. The plane didnt leave the gate for a while and then after about an hour I saw them taking our luggage out of the plane! And then a moments later they said that the flight was cancelled. Probably for maintenence or something. So we all get off and they tell us to call this number or go to customer service.  Now I dont have a phone so I couldnt call the
