Hello! wow this week was great. Sunday was Presidents birthday so we got him a boca jersey and signed it. Then on monday I saw that a man that I had taught in Embarcacion 8 months ago was baptized. Seeing that made me really think about the work we are doing, and the impact it has on the lives of God's children. His name is Facundo. We became good friends during my time in Embarcacion, but it was frustrating because everytime we brought up the Church he wasn't too interested. He's been around the missionaries for years, and his wife is a member, but he's always had something holding him back from baptism and I wanted to help him. When it came time for me to leave it was tough because I saw his potential and it made me sad to see him harden his heart, because many times he talked against the church, but I really grew to love him and his family. The months passed and when I asked the missionaries what happened that all of a sudden he decided to be baptized, they told me t

Another week of Conferences and traveling around the mission, but we finished on friday so now we get to take a rest! Well not really because next week we are helping with the PFJ (efy) in Tucuman, so that'll be fun to talk to a bunch of the youth. Then we have more meetings for the new missionaries who got here 6 weeks ago, and then we'll receive more new missionaries in the days that follow. A lot of missionaries are planning activities with the Book of Mormon and their wards and branches, and we go to help them as well so things aren't really slowing down if you think about it. But I'm loving it. I learn so much everyday from everybody, and I've been setting personal goals to help me get closer to Jesus Christ, and to make the most of the little time I have left as a missionary for his Church. This week we had conferences in Jujuy and Salta, and they both were so awesome! In every conference we talked about the Restoration, and I'm grateful because every time

Hello friends and family, This week was great, and we had two zone conferences so we were traveling basically the whole time. We started in Santiago and then went to Tucuman. It was a great experience, and im grateful to have been able to see so many people, and for the friendships I've made. I started my mission in Tucuman, and this was the first time I was able to go back to visit my first area. We were just passing by, and I wasn't able to see a ton of people, but of the few that I did get to see, I realized what a blessing it is to have got to know them and see them again here in the mission. There's pics below, and some of the people I visited I had taught before and one even ended up getting baptized after I had left. Diego (the one on the left) was someone that played soccer with us, and after some time he was baptized and I realized what a blessing the mission is to be able others closer to Christ, and also meanwhile make friendships I also saw Elder Gonzalez for th

So its been like 4 days since I've written last, but now we're back on normal schedule, now that Christmas and new years have passed. Today we went and played soccer with President Orquera on a field that overlooks the city and that was a lot of fun. Afterwards we went to a lake nearby. The lake was cool but the drive was probably the best part. In these few days we've been preparing to talk to the mission about how we need to be better teachers of the Gospel, and how were going to focus on teaching about the Restoration. We had a leadership council on Friday, and Elder Garcia and I stayed up till 2 am getting everything ready. In this next week were heading to Santiago (almost 7 hours to the south) and then Tucuman to give zone conferences. I'm pretty excited, and then the week after we'll be heading to Jujuy and then ending here in Salta. I know that God is our Father, and that he loves us with a perfect love. I know that his son Jesus Christ came to earth and by

Today we got together a zone and make some choripan  (sausage with bread) and played some volleyball and soccer! It was a lot of fun, and it's crazy to think that another year has already passed. In Argentina they sure like their fireworks, and they make sure everyone and their dog knows it too. At midnight tonight the clear skies will turn into a battlefield for about 10 minutes, and that's always fun to watch. This week was a lot more chill than the last, but we still ended up traveling quite a bit! We went up to JUJUY yesterday to help the missionaries there and it was a lot of fun, and we took the scenic route so there's some pictures from our trip below. This week we saw a miracle with the baptism of Elizabeth and her daughter! If you remember from my other emails, she's someone I was teaching with Elder Perkins, but then she moved away to mitre and we weren't able to teach her. But right around that time, I got moved to Mitre, and we were able to keep teaching

Brief email sent 12/16/2019 Hey guys I don't have a lot of time today, and will start writing on Saturdays. I've been assigned as assistant in the mission so well see how this goes haha. Love you all! This week was amazing and Ill send pics on saturday! Email sent 12/24/2019 Life is crazy My last week with Elder Perkins was awesome, and we had a huge activity in a park with the movie "The Christ Child". It was such a blessing to work with the members to plan it and in the end it turned out great. SO many people went, and the spirit was so strong, and President Orquera even went and it was so cool to see it all happen! I have pictures but Elder Perkins has them so well have to wait till he sends them to me. Normally they give the new assistant a couple weeks to learn but  ever since they called me there hasn't been time for anything! I was kinda thrown into it all, but it's been awesome! Elder Garcia is my companion and he's from Guate

Good Times Dec 9, 2019

We traveled to Metan last Monday to visit the missionaries there and we had district council in the dark because the lights went out! It was a good time. The next day I did divisions with Elder Sperry and that man is a beast! We talked with everyone we could about the Good News, and we had some great experiences. I love my companion and his testimony. We were teaching carolina and Gaston about the restoration, and as Elder Perkins was teaching about the First Vision, the spirit filled the room. He testified of the love God has for us by restoring his church, and I received a confirmation for myself that what he was saying was true. I know Joseph Smith saw God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. He spoke to my Savior face to face, and just like the prophets of old, revealed God's will to men. Abi was baptized this saturday! She went from being afraid of water to wanting to follow her sisters example so that one day she can go to the temple. We made cinnamon rolls like 4 times this
