What up famm!
people here think its so funny that my last name is Blackburn.
apparently negro quemado isn't a name for a white kid like me..hahah

This morning we had breakfast as a zone with President because we met
all our goals last transfer! he took us to Rock in the House for a
breakfast buffet and it was dope.

This was a good week and were seeing so many great things happening.
Some days are cold and then by mid day its hot, and then in the
afternoon its super cold again...fun stuff haha. Our soccer activities
are bringing us lots of new people to teach were pretty good friends
with the guys we play with.

Lets talk about some blessings we've seen. On Tuesday I was on splits
with Elder Macaulley in Ciudad de Milagros and Elder Slavens was with
my comp and they went to visit Cecilia. It turns out when they were
talking with her she put her own date to get baptized. Shes passing
through some hard times right now but she asked us to send a scripture
to read every day and she says that that is helping.

La Familia Montenegro have known the missionaries forever! The mom is
a member and we are teaching the dad and their two kids. The dad is
always pretty set on his ways that his kids arent going to be
baptized, and yet they go to church Sundays. Anyways we kinda changed
our focus and stopped talking about baptism directly and we mainly
focused on the idea of an Eternal Family. They are so great and I hope
they get sealed in the temple one day. well this Sunday they all went
to church and after the classes the daughter came up to us and said
she wants to be baptized! she was a little unsure about it but we are
hoping that the dads heart will change and that they can get baptized
this weekend. In Luke it says that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD and i
know that is true.

He was a God of miracles in ancient times and he is a God of miracles TODAY

Lautaro keeps being a stud and an example for his family. They haven't
been able to come to church since their baptism because they got sick
and this Sunday had to go and vote early ( I hate politics) but he
keeps on going by himself. hes gonna be a future missionary I know it.

We had a great talk with the dad of this family we are teaching and it
was the first time I've seen him cry. Hes not a member but he bore his
testimony of the restored Gospel right there in the street to us and
its was a special moment.

We taught this Evangelical man outside of his house on a log and it was
so cool. We sang a hymn with him from his hymn book that I had never
heard of and I loved it! the spirit was there and we taught him about
the restoration of Christs church. He said he'd read the Book of Mormon
and in his prayer thanked God for bringing it into his life.

I honestly love this work. This is my last week with Elder Ruiz and if
I've learned anything from him it is how to teach. We've had a great
transfer and hes became such a good friend of mine.
