Transfer Week Feb 2,2020

Hola a todos!
This week was kinda crazy because we had transfers so we saw a lot of
good friends leaving and a lot of new good friends arriving! Its weird
because in the same day we drop off the missionaries who are ending
and then we pick up the new missionaries.

With my assignment I get to serve many missionaries and I have many
goals so that I can do it in a way that Christ would if he were in my
shoes. Ive learned a lot from President Orquera and his example. He
loves the Lord and loves the missionaries in Salta, and so do I

My birthday was on Monday and it was so great. We had transfers so the
whole mission was traveling to their new areas, and even though some
things went wrong, in the end everyone got to their area sooner or
later haha. Hna Orquera had bought a cake and we shared it with the
missionaries going home before their dinner with President. I was so
grateful!

We had a great Leadership council and President shared with us some
experiences from his mission and some of his journal entries. It was
one of the most spiritual experiences Ive had with him and the other
elderes, and I could feel the presence of angels in the room. It was
pretty special and I know God called him and us to this part of his
vineyard. He walks alongside of us as we preach his restored Gospel. I
know that.

This next week well have 3 conferences in 3 days so itll be a lot of traveling!

So a lot happened this week but more than anything, my testimony of the power of the Holy ghost was strengthened. We have been teaching this lady named Elizebeth. Well she came to church this Sunday and she offered to say the last prayer in her class and started to cry. Elder pekins and I saw it from a distance and he gave me a fat hug haha we were so happy for her. She felt the spirit in that moment and later shared with us how she received an answer that the Book of Mormon is true. After a lesson with her she asked, "so when can we put a date for my baptism?" We were amazed! That's normally something we invite the people to do, but I guess the spirit beat us to it. And that's how it should be I guess, because conversion comes through the Holy Ghost. Also shout out to my companion for always being intune with the spirit. Already Two Weeks!

Que Pasa Calabazas! I cant believe its been two weeks here. Ever since the first day time has flown by! The language was coming so quickly and I learned so much in the first week, I just need to make sure that I keep learning and dont get stagnant. Also things have gotten into a rythm here so its jsut been a blur!  On thursday, it was our last lesson with daniela and it went really well. I feel like we followed the spirit and were able to answer her questions about baptism! Friday We prepared for our next people we are teaching, Ignasio and Salma! we also did a service project during gym time and that was awsome!  Saturday, We had our first lesson with ignasio and we learned alot! we kinda overwhelmed him with info when we should have realized that he had a limited knowledge of God. Fast for the House of the Lord Mar 7, 2020

Howzit mis amigos This week my new companion Elder Sperry got here and he's super awesome. This week we've been showing him some of the stuff we do in our assignment and Im super excited for these next 12 weeks to work with him and serve the missionaries in this mission. Last week hermano Gaspar was baptized! He was at the church before we were and it was so cool to see him take this step of faith and follow the Savior by being baptized. There's always a special spirit manifested in ordinances like baptism, and afterwards he thanked us again for helping him reach this point in his life. He asked me to confirm him and give him the Holy Ghost. It was the first time I had ever done it in my mission, and in my life, because we always had asked members to do it, but I was grateful he thought of me and it was an experience I will never forget.
